An Artistic Performance
and Solidarity

Painter Jakè is launching the Tako-Tsubo Project, a major artistic initiative combining performance, production of works and micro-patronage.
This unique project aims to support the completion of the Jakè Family, a space dedicated to the arts including workshops, a gallery and artist residencies, based in Lorgues (83).

The Tako-Tsubo Project:
A Deep Emotional Resonance

The name "Tako-Tsubo" refers to Tako-Tsubo syndrome (or cardiomyopathy
stress), a temporary heart condition often triggered by intense emotional shock, such as heartbreak.
The heart then takes on a characteristic shape, reminiscent of a traditional Japanese octopus trap (the tako-tsubo).
This symbolic name reflects the artist's vulnerability and sensitivity to emotional hardship, and the ability of art to transform pain into a creative force.
It also embodies Jakè's desire to share an intimate and universal experience
through his art.

A Creative and Generous Challenge: 2025 Unique Canvases

Jakè is committed to producing 2025 original canvases in 30x30 cm format.
Each work is a unique piece, dated, signed, numbered and certified, with a motif
and a randomly assigned number.
This massive production demonstrates the artist's determination to achieve his goal and offers a unique opportunity for collectors and art lovers to acquire an original work at an affordable price.

The Jakè Family: A Place of Creation and Sharing

The Jakè Family is much more than just a studio: it's a space for artists to live, create, and exchange ideas. By supporting this project, Jakè hopes to perpetuate this space and develop it into a true artistic hub, fostering encounters, collaborations, and the emergence of new talent.

The Tako-Tsubo Project is based on a micro-patronage model of direct crowdfunding.
By purchasing a painting, the public contributes directly to the financing of the Jakè Family
and becomes a key player in this artistic performance.
Each acquisition is a concrete gesture of support for artistic creation and dissemination
of culture.

Micro-Patronage: Active Participation in Art
